Connections Pastor: Tim Walters
Although Tim Walters officially joined The Bridge in January 2007, he has been a part of our church since its beginning. Long before The Bridge was established, Mike and Tim dreamed of what the church could do to reach the community of Morrisville. Amongst other things, he currently oversees the small groups, missions, administration and youth ministries at The Bridge. Originally from Charlotte, Tim has served in various churches and ministries for the last 14 years. Tim received his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and his M.Div from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Anna, have three children Ty, Ben and Paige.
Here's an interview we did to give you a little more information about Tim...
So what exactly do you do at the Bridge?
Wow, some days I wonder. But most of what I do revolves around trying to connect people with what is going on at the church. I oversee the areas of Connection Groups, Missions, Students and Administration.
